Bali has all sort of different accommodations, in all ranges, but today we're focusing on the cheapest ones while keeping basic standards of course.
Choosing hotels is all about what your needs are, which vary depending on what you're hoping to be doing in Bali, so what you have in this list isn't a competition "this one's the best, this one comes third". We're giving you affordable options that meet different needs in this 5 Cheapest Hotels in Bali:
$15 dollars or less a night.
This is one of the cheapest hotels out there and it's right in front of the mall. I know, maybe shopping isn't your number one priority when you're out there, but still, that means you'll find stores selling whatever you need near you. It's cheap, it's clean, it isn't far away from things... it's a budget bargain.

Less than $20 dollars a night
As I'm writing this, there's a discount that makes the Kubu Hotel even more of a bargain at $13.15 dollars a night, but that won't be the case always which is why we're listing it as "less than 20 dollars a night". It's a great place to stay, it's clean, it's pretty, and it has a good location, and it has a nice pool. All in all, I think this place gives you the most bang for your buck.

Less than $25 dollars
This hotel has the surfer in mind. It's a nice place to kick back and relax at the end of a tiring surfing session. It's a beautiful place, and it really doesn't matter if you're a surfer or not, you'll appreciate it either way. The rooms are very basic, but that's to be expected, since you're not supposed to spend that much time there anyway (intended for surfers who will go out and surf and just come back relax in the common areas, go to their rooms to sleep and shower). Being so close to the Bingin Beach, this place is a real bargain.

Around $22 a night
So this place has an amazing view, it's incredibly beautiful and all. Only thing holding you back is that at $22 dollars a night you don't get AC (you only get a fan) which is below standard for Bali, but if you're willing to weather the storm it's an amazing place to stay... or if you're willing to spend about $10 more dollars per night for the AC, which isn't all that bad.

For about $23 dollars a night
Close to the Nusa Dua beach, this hotel keeps it nice and neat, which is all you really need. Breakfast included and it's not bad at all. There really isn't anything to complain about, they're not cutting corners anywhere. It's a nice place at a good affordable price.
